Last week I spent a few days in Scruton -North Yorkshire visiting my brother Paul, his wife Elaine and son Tobias. Scruton is a village close to Northallerton and Scotch Corner in North Yorkshire. I have to admit, it is a beautiful part of the country. Luckily we got back to Oakham a couple of days before the storm.

Scruton is quite a large village and is known as a Thankful village, one of the very few in the country. It is so called a Thankful village because it lost no one during the First World War. In the village there is a pub called The Core Arms. Also in the village is a railway station, a beautiful church, playing field, village green, and a village hall. Plus other places as well.

A Couple of my Brother and Sister-in-Law’s friends

During the visit my brother and his wife decided to put up some Christmas decorations. One afternoon they were put up in the garden-front and back. Everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Unfortunately they had to take the decorations down again on the Thursday. There was a possibility they would be blown away during the high winds.

As a professional videographer I took a couple of cameras with me. You can see the results above. As a videographer I am available for recording weddings, christenings, parties, commercial or whatever you may require. You can see how to contact me at the end of the clips.
