Last week, I went to the Morcott Petanque Supper held at the Rutland Point. Because of the Covid pandemic we hadn’t met up for over a year so it was tremendous for the whole team to meet up. There was certainly plenty to catch up on and the whole evening was a joy to behold.

I actually went as a member of the Petanque team but nevertheless took one of my video cameras to record the evening. I couldn’t let the chance to video the Morcott Petanque Supper pass me by. The team being made up of such a fabulous group of people.

The Morcott Petanque Supper was held at the Rutland Point. Personally I had never heard of the place. It turned out to be an Indian restaurant on the A47 at Morcott. So not a difficult place to find.

The Rutland Point turned out to be an Indian restaurant well worth visiting. Inside the atmosphere was superb. We were greeted by warm and friendly staff, especially by Toni, the manageress. The service was excellent, what more can I say, and the food was top class.

All in all, a fantastic evening was had by all. Meeting the Morcott pétanque team members again after such a long time and the cracking food served up at the Rutland Point. What could have been better.
