Sunday’s Oakham Food Festival (28th June 2018) in the Market Place, the Castle and the Victoria Hall was a huge success.
The many visitors to the town enjoyed a feast of foods and drinks to taste and buy and with the glorious weather encouraging people to venture out, the Food Festival attracted numerous tasters trying out the many varied foods.
One of the visitors, the Mayor of Oakham Councillor Adam Lowe, said “Thanks to the hard work put in by Carolyn Acton the town was very busy today with the food festival providing a world wide variety of cuisine and drinks, and helped to promote the town.”
“The opportunity to enjoy good food and refreshing drinks while visiting the town was accompanied by music in the Market Place”
All in all a great day was had by everyone.
