As from 9.00am this morning, 22nd June, Rutland Water Nature Reserves will re-open to the public.
Egleton nature reserve will be open every weekday but Lyndon will be closed on Mondays.
Procedures have been put in place throughout the nature reserves. By following these procedures and sticking to the social distancing guidelines you will be safe. It is important to follow all instructions from staff and volunteers and take notice of all signs.
Both of the centres will be operating a one way system so you will no doubt experience some queuing.
Each hide will have their doors fixed open so as to limit touch points. There will also be a reduction in the numbers allowed in each hide and the buildings at any one time.
Hand sanitiser will be available at the Rutland Water Nature Reserves, however, it is advisable to bring your own if possible because you may be touching stiles and gates when visiting the hides.
Lyndon visitor centre will be closed on Mondays until further notice. The car park gate and side gates will, however, remain open.
The Government has stressed the risk of Coronavirus being passed to people using public rights of way, tracks, paths and trails is very low.
