National Lockdown Over

I am immensely grateful to each of you who have adhered to the national lockdown with such a sense of civic duty. The end of restrictions is firmly in sight with the first vaccine being approved this morning. From today we return to the strengthened tier system to maintain our control over COVID-19. As from today-23rd May-Oakham’s bus station waiting room temporary closure will take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Local bus operators have been running a reduced service for the past few weeks because of the pandemic. In light of the new lockdown measures it is feared there will be more visitors to the county.
