VJ Day 75th Anniversary at Oakham Church

Today, 15th August 2020, a two minute silence was held to mark VJ Day 75th Anniversary at Oakham church. Because of the coronavirus pandemic only the Lord Lieutenant and Rutland High Sheriff took part. The Rainbow Trail Officially Opened

Saturday morning (August 8th 2020) the Rainbow Trail officially opened. Dr Sarah Furness, the Lord Lieutenant for Rutland, and Richard Cole Esq, the High Sheriff for Rutland, were both there to complete the ribbon cutting ceremony.
